LEADERSHIP

Pastor/Elder

Pastor Scott Stine has served at First Baptist since December 2017. He and his wife Kate have three children, Isaiah, Dorothy Mae, and Haddon.

Scott holds degrees from Trevecca Nazarene University (Nashville) and Reformed Presbyterian Seminary (Pittsburgh), and is currently writing his dissertation (PhD) in Biblical Theology through Columbia International University. On the side, he teaches Biblical Worldview to the 8th Grade students at Northwest Christian School, and is a student member of the Evangelical Theological Society.

Scott has two goals as a pastor: First, to help believers live for and enjoy the God who is Trinity; and second, to help curious non-believers find Him, whom to know is eternal life (John 17:3).

Influential theologians and pastors include AW Tozer, Peter Masters, Michael Reeves, John Webster, and Graeme Goldsworthy. His favorite diversions (read: distractions) are the Purdue Boilermakers and the Indiana Pacers.
