Food and Clothing Pantry
For God so loved He gave… This well known phrase captures the essence of our Food and Clothing pantry ministry. We love to give because so much has been given to us. Once a month, typically the third Monday, our pantries are open for those with needs in the community. The ministry is supported and staffed by caring friends in the church and community.
November Report–On Monday, November 23, the Food Pantry ministry at First Baptist had the privilege of ministering to 325 people from 132 families in Sussex county. We thank God for the faithfulness of the many involved and for the generosity of numerous individuals and businesses. Our prayer is that God would be glorified through this tangible expression of care for our community.
The next Food Pantry distribution is set for Monday, March 22, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
