Associate Pastor Coming

First Baptist Church is pleased to announce that Dallas Peschken will be joining the church staff in September. The church looks forward to welcoming Dallas, his wife Nicole and their four children. Dallas, a graduate of Liberty University, will serve as Associate Pastor of Discipleship. He will be working with teens and their parents and also the small group ministry. We are looking forward to this new partnership trusting that God will bless the ministry.

We are pleased to announce to our community that Diana Roach M.A., LPC, a licensed professional counselor with fifteen plus years experience is now taking appointments. Her practice is operating at 2 Liberty in Newton and we hope that she will be a blessing to our community. She is offering Bibliocentric counseling to adults, families and children in our area. On Sunday, June 20, 2010 First Baptist Church of Newton celebrated its 175th anniversary. Members and friends both near and far joined with us in celebrating God’s faithfulness. Pastor Allan Davis, who served as pastor at First Baptist for 31 years along with his family were a welcome part of this glad occasion.
