New Sunday School Semester Begins

A new Sunday School semester begins January 6, 2013 at 9:45 AM.

Plan now to be a part of one of the two new adult electives being offered:

Unlocking Bible Treasure -Mining God’s Word for All It’s Worth (Pastor R. Scott Boger)

This class is designed to equip the student to study and live by the Book.

How Can I Love Those Prickly People? (Mrs. Cathy Ryle)

Prickly people can hurt and bruise us with snubs, jabs, and stabs. This class explains how we can love, comfort and help them.

We are pleased to announce to our community that Diana Roach M.A., LPC, a licensed professional counselor with fifteen plus years experience is now taking appointments. Her practice is operating at 2 Liberty in Newton and we hope that she will be a blessing to our community. She is offering Bibliocentric counseling to adults, families and children in our area. On Sunday, June 20, 2010 First Baptist Church of Newton celebrated its 175th anniversary. Members and friends both near and far joined with us in celebrating God’s faithfulness. Pastor Allan Davis, who served as pastor at First Baptist for 31 years along with his family were a welcome part of this glad occasion.
